24/7 trading sounds like convenience. But are people actually using the extra hours?
Early bStocks data from June showed that around 47% of trading volume happened outside traditional U.S. market hours.
That made me look at 24/7 access differently.
It's not just:
“I can trade when Wall Street is closed.”
The more interesting question is:
“When does equity demand actually show up?”
The underlying U.S. market still has its own trading schedule.
But bStocks can remain available outside those hours — and the early data shows that equity activity isn't confined to the traditional market clock.
So for me, 24/7 isn't simply:
more hours to trade.
It's:
more hours in which equity demand can appear.
That's what I find interesting about bStocks.
24/7 trading doesn't just extend the clock.
It changes when equity demand can show up.
