I noticed it isn't just about issuing tokens on-chain, it's specifically framed around handling securities and regulated assets, which already narrows the design space considerably compared to general-purpose token standards.

What seems interesting is how ownership and transfer records get structured so that sensitive holder information stays confidential while the underlying asset logic still respects whatever compliance rules apply to it. It makes me think this could matter a lot for firms that want tokenization without exposing cap tables or transaction history to the public, something that's been a real sticking point for institutions considering on-chain issuance.

The question that comes to mind is how this scales once multiple jurisdictions get involved. Compliance requirements differ significantly across regions, and I'm not completely sure whether a single tokenization framework can flex enough to satisfy, say, EU rules and other regulatory regimes simultaneously without becoming overly rigid or fragmented into separate implementations.

Looking from the outside, it feels like the real challenge isn't the cryptography itself but whether regulators and custodians are actually ready to trust this kind of infrastructure at scale.
