People often think you need 10x, 20x or 50x leverage to make serious money in crypto.

You don't.

One of the most underrated approaches is simply trading spot on a CEX like Binance with 1x exposure.

Imagine you have $1,000 and you consistently find good setups that give you around 5–8% per successful trade. A 5% gain turns $1,000 into $1,050. Another 5% on the new balance takes it to $1,102.50. With 8%, the compounding effect becomes even more powerful.

That's the part many beginners miss.

You don't necessarily need one crazy 100% coin. You need capital protection, patience, good entries and repeatable setups.

Of course, this doesn't mean you will make 5–8% every trade. Some trades will lose, some will go nowhere, and fees/slippage also reduce returns. The goal is not to win every trade — it's to make sure your winners are meaningful and your losses stay controlled.

And that's why I prefer spot + 1x over blindly chasing leverage.

No liquidation from leverage. Less pressure. You can wait for your setup instead of being forced out by a small move.

Crypto can move 5–8% surprisingly fast, especially in altcoins. The real skill is not finding a coin that pumps.

It's knowing when to enter, when to take profit, and when to simply stay out.

Small percentages look boring.

Compounded consistently, they can become anything but boring.

This is educational, not a guarantee of returns. Crypto and altcoins are highly volatile and losses are always possible.
