#termmax @TermMax
While looking into TermMax, the first thing that caught my attention was its focus on fixed-rate borrowing and lending.
In DeFi, interest rates can change very quickly. A rate that looks attractive today may not remain the same tomorrow because of market demand, liquidity, or changing conditions.
This can make it difficult for borrowers to plan their costs and for lenders to estimate their returns.
TermMax is trying to solve this problem by creating a marketplace where users can work with fixed rates for a specific period. In simple words, users can have a clearer idea of what they may pay or earn during that selected term instead of dealing only with constantly changing rates.
I also found it interesting that TermMax is not focusing on just one feature. The project is working around lending, borrowing, leverage, curated strategies, and a next-generation AMM model.
Of course, this does not mean there is no risk. Anyone using a DeFi protocol should understand collateral, maturity, liquidity, liquidation, and smart-contract risks first. Still, TermMax is working on a real problem in DeFi: making financial planning more predictable.
