🔗 $LINK HOLDS ABOVE $9 — CAN THE RALLY CONTINUE?

#Chainlink $LINK is showing stronger momentum after breaking above the important $8.90 resistance. The move started near $8.20 and quickly pushed LINK toward $9.60, giving the token around a 14% weekly gain.

After taking some profit, LINK slipped back toward $9.40, but the important part is that price is still holding above $8.90. For now, the breakout structure remains positive.

Momentum has cooled slightly, with RSI around 64, but it is still showing healthy bullish strength. Open Interest has also climbed toward $690M, meaning more traders are using leverage to bet on the move.

🐋 WHALE ACTIVITY IS NOW A KEY RISK

A large LINK holder recently moved around 984K LINK, worth roughly $9.2M, to Coinbase.

That could become selling pressure if those coins are sold, although simply moving tokens to an exchange does not automatically mean a sale is happening.

The same whale still holds around 1.43M LINK, so traders are watching closely for any additional exchange deposits.

🏛️ WHITE HOUSE EVENT COULD ADD MORE ATTENTION

LINK is also getting extra attention because Chainlink is expected to be involved in a White House crypto meeting on August 19 alongside major industry players.

This event could keep traders interested, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed bullish catalyst. If the meeting produces meaningful developments, sentiment could improve. If nothing important comes from it, traders may quickly return their focus to price and demand.

📊 LEVELS TO WATCH

Bullish: A clean move back above $9.60 could open the door for another push higher.

Important support: $8.90–$9.00. Holding this zone keeps the breakout structure alive.

If LINK loses this area, the recent breakout could start losing strength and a deeper pullback becomes more likely.

For now, LINK remains bullish above $9, but whale transfers and rising leverage make the next move especially important.
