CONVICTION AND HOLDING.
When we talk about a person who has balls of steel, then we are always talking about a trader. That person under-goes such a torture and torment whenever a real trade is placed.
Some people have very strong personalities and are able to withstand all kinds of pain, you ever heard of the painless labor, women who never feel pain during delivery, such kind of people are existing in this very field of trading. They will place a million bucks worth of a trade and never flinch.
A majority of the traders however are the ones who will experience sleepless nights whenever a trade is running in the background.
Counter checking the progress or rather managing the trade and monitoring on the progress every now and then just to be sure that the bias and edge was perfect.
This is the art of conviction that I would download from a computer into my system, you know holding onto that trade so comfortably and confidently you could travel around the world and never bother to check on it coz you know well how sorted you are.
In the book ‘street smart’ some men placed a trade and went on vacation only to get the biggest shock of life when he called his secretary to confirm the progress of the trade he had placed. I have not gathered enough courage myself to let the trades run un-attended, it is such a process.
SOLUTION = GATHER ENOUGH TRADING EXPERIENCE COUPLED WITH CAPITAL LARGE ENOUGH YOU WILL NOT FEEL A PINCH WHEN SOME IS TAKEN AWAY!
I never advocate for a losing trade, or entertain the thought of a loss during trading, never in my mind, but in order to have the so-called balls of steel one needs to have capital enough in the accounts.
Ready to go to work for you, maybe even employ someone to manage the account.
As for the retail traders who have not attained such capacity we are having one way forward to trade consistently well till we have enough courage and confidence to hold onto a trade till your target is acquired.
