Dusk Network caught my attention for a simple reason: financial information is not something people should always have to put on display just because it lives on a blockchain.
What I like about Dusk Network is that privacy is treated as part of the foundation, not something added later. Its layer-1 design supports confidential smart contracts and the XSC standard with financial applications in mind.
That opens up an interesting possibility for builders. You could have applications where certain information stays private while the rules that matter can still be verified. That feels much closer to how real financial systems need to work.
But the technology alone isn't enough. Dusk Network still has to make this practical for developers, useful for users, and easy enough for real applications to integrate.
If it gets that balance right, Dusk Network could make privacy feel less like a special feature and more like a normal part of using financial applications on-chain.
