I used to think tokenizing financial assets was mainly a technical challenge: create a token, deploy it on-chain, and let the market take over.

But the more I explore Dusk, the more I realize the real challenge starts after the token exists.

A financial asset needs more than a smart contract. Users need to discover assets, connect wallets, prove eligibility, trade, and complete both payment and asset settlement. This is where Dusk Trade becomes interesting, bringing these steps into a practical workflow for tokenized financial assets.

Underneath it, Dusk provides the infrastructure to support that workflow. DuskDS handles settlement, finality, and data availability, while DuskEVM and DuskVM provide flexible environments for building applications and contracts. Citadel adds identity and selective disclosure, with Dusk Connect and the Wallet Extension supporting user interaction.

For me, the biggest idea is simple: tokenization creates the asset, but infrastructure makes it usable.
