The explorer ate my afternoon. Couldn't stop staring at one number: 1.7M DUSK unclaimed.
206 active provisioners. 271 total. APR reads 22.31%. Next epoch in under 4 hours. All live data.
The marketing says seamless. Automated. Rewards flow the moment you're active. But that pile says something else.
I kept clicking refresh watching for it to drop. It didn't. Barely moved.
Is it trust? Like, why rush, it's safe? Or is claiming just friction dressed up as optional? I genuinely don't know.
What I do know: every unclaimed reward isn't compounding. Isn't restaking. It's just sitting there while the network could be using it.
Makes me wonder if we're all just parking and forgetting, or if there's something about the claiming step that quietly disincentivizes people from actually collecting.
A 1.7M question with no clear answer.
Curious what happens when that pile hits 5M. Does it become a feature or a bug?
