I wasn't looking at @Dusk_Foundation privacy features this time. I was more interested in what happens after a transaction is submitted.
It's easy to focus on confidentiality because that's what Dusk is known for.
But financial applications need more than private transactions.
They also need clear and reliable settlement.
When assets move on-chain, participants need to know that the transaction has been processed correctly and that the final state can be trusted.
That sounds simple, but it becomes much harder when privacy is part of the design.
That's one reason I've been spending more time reading about $DUSK
The network isn't only trying to protect information. It's also exploring how confidential transactions can work alongside predictable settlement and real financial use cases.
I think that balance is important.
Privacy matters.
Settlement matters too.
If blockchain is going to support larger financial applications, both probably need to work together rather than being treated as separate problems.
I'm curious to see how this approach develops as the ecosystem grows.
