Polissia. The Teteriv River.

I’d just swum to the other side and was lying on the warm bank, drying off in the sun.

No charts. No laptop. Just water, trees and one of those rare moments when your head finally gets quiet.

And then, somehow, I started thinking about bStocks.

Maybe crossing the river put the idea there.

Getting from one side to the other feels simple when the route is open.

That reminded me of one small detail I almost overlooked:

1:1 Stock ↔ bStock conversion doesn’t necessarily mean the route is available every single moment.

Binance generally makes conversion available 24/7.

But during maintenance or certain corporate-action processing windows, it can be temporarily paused.

That distinction matters more than it sounds.

The conversion mechanism is still there.

The 1:1 relationship hasn’t disappeared.

The crossing is simply unavailable for a while.

So I added another small rule for myself:

if I know I’ll need to convert a position at a specific time, I check the current service status first instead of assuming that “24/7” means “never interrupted.”

Then I looked back across the Teteriv.

At least my route home was still open.
