Privacy Is Becoming Infrastructure😉

Crypto sentiment has changed. I’m seeing less excitement around chasing every new narrative and more attention moving toward infrastructure that can actually survive real financial use.

That’s where $DUSK catches my attention.

The problem is simple: traditional finance needs privacy, but public blockchains expose too much information. You can’t expect institutions to put sensitive financial activity on rails where every transaction becomes permanently visible.

$DUSK is approaching this with a privacy-focused Layer-1 built around confidential smart contracts and its Confidential Security Contract, or XSC, standard. I think the interesting part is not privacy as a feature. It’s privacy becoming usable infrastructure for regulated financial applications.

From what I’ve seen, this could matter for RWAs, securities and other markets where confidentiality and compliance have to coexist.

I’ll be honest, though: strong technology doesn’t automatically create adoption. Dusk still has to attract developers, liquidity and real financial activity while competing with larger ecosystems.

One thing I think people overlook is that institutions may not care about “privacy” as a narrative. They care about controlling who can see what.

That distinction could matter enormously.

If Dusk can turn confidential execution into something businesses actually need, its value proposition becomes much more practical than speculative.
