Binance founder CZ said Trezor disclosed a data breach at its shipping provider affecting about 13,700 recent customers. Roughly 11,700 had their full names, email addresses, phone numbers and shipping addresses exposed. Trezor’s systems and private keys were not compromised, but the leaked data links users’ identities and physical addresses to known crypto holders, potentially creating phishing, social engineering and physical security risks. CZ said the incident highlights the different risk profiles of hardware wallets and software self-custody wallets.
