Putting an RWA on a blockchain is easy to describe.Making it usable for real financial institutions is much harder.Think about a tokenized bond. It is not just an asset sitting in a wallet. There can be investor eligibility rules, transfer restrictions, settlement requirements and information that only certain parties should be able to see.

A fully transparent blockchain creates an awkward tradeoff.You get verifiability, but you may also expose too much.An institution might not want its entire position history sitting in public view. An issuer may need to protect sensitive records. An investor may need to prove they are eligible without revealing everything about themselves.This is why I think privacy becomes far more useful when it is programmable. @Dusk_Foundation #dusk $OPY.US

The goal is not simply to hide transactions. The goal is to let financial applications decide what should remain private and what needs to be revealed.That is the direction Dusk is taking.

DuskDS provides the settlement layer and supports confidential as well as transparent transactions. For RWA markets this distinction matters.A token can represent a real-world asset. But the surrounding rules are what make that asset practical in a regulated environment.

Who can hold it?Who can transfer it?
What information needs to be disclosed?
Who is allowed to verify it?Those questions should not require putting the entire financial relationship on public display.
