Look, I’ve seen this movie before. DUSK says it can bring regulated finance on-chain while keeping sensitive transactions private. The problem is real. The pitch is cleaner than reality.

Privacy doesn’t remove regulation. Identity checks, compliance rules, custody, external data and legal responsibility still have to exist somewhere. DUSK may simply move that complexity into smart contracts, privacy systems and governance layers. And when something breaks, who actually has the authority to fix it?

Let’s be honest, the real test isn’t whether DUSK can make transactions confidential. It’s whether institutions will trust the infrastructure enough to put real assets through it. The catch is simple: tokenising finance doesn’t automatically create liquidity, adoption or accountability. That part still has to be earned.
