Algorand just shipped v5.0.0 and it has post-quantum accounts baked directly into the protocol. not a roadmap slide, not a 2027 promise. the Falcon-1024 signatures are in the code right now.
here's my read: $ALGO grinds higher from here as long as the quantum narrative keeps getting attention from other chains. right now Algorand is one of the only protocols where you can point at a version number and say 'it's already done.' that's a short list and short lists matter when capital is rotating into security stories.
what proves me wrong is simple. if v5.0.0 gets zero developer uptake and the new account type sits unused, the technical lead means nothing. a feature nobody builds on is just a press release.
