#USJulyCPI&PPIDueThisWeek
Both reports are out already:
July CPI (released Aug 12): Consumer prices rose 0.1% month-over-month and 3.4% year-over-year (NSA); core CPI rose 0.2% for the month and 2.5% year-over-year. (Bureau of Labor Statistics)
July PPI (releasing today, Aug 13, at 8:30 AM ET): scheduled for release today at 8:30 A.M. Eastern Time (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) — so it should be out or landing shortly depending on your timezone. The prior report (June PPI) had shown producer prices for final demand falling 0.3%, with goods down 1.4% and services up 0.2%, and a 5.5% year-over-year increase (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) .
Want me to pull the actual July PPI numbers once they're confirmed, or dig into how markets are reacting to the CPI print?
