🔔 💵 $1 = 1.87 MILLION IRR — Trump Says the U.S. Has “Total Control” of Hormuz 🇺🇸🇮🇷 BNB 🎁

Iran’s currency is showing just how severe the country’s economic pressure has become.

On the free market today, $1 is trading at around 1,872,000 Iranian rials. By comparison, the official reference rate is around 42,000 rials per dollar.

That means the free-market dollar is worth roughly 44.6× more than the official rate — a gap of about 1.83 million rials for every $1.

And now the geopolitical pressure is rising again.

🇺🇸 Donald Trump said the United States has “total control” over the Strait of Hormuz, describing the U.S. naval blockade as a “wall of steel” that Iran cannot challenge.

Iran has rejected Trump's claim, while traffic through the strategic waterway remains dramatically below pre-war levels. Only eight vessels crossed the strait on Tuesday, compared with roughly 130–140 vessels per day before the war.

For Iran, the combination is brutal:

Sanctions + disrupted oil exports + a collapsing rial + geopolitical pressure.

For global markets, the question is different:

🛢️ What happens to oil if Hormuz remains restricted?
💵 Does further pressure on Iran weaken the rial even more?
₿ And could another Middle East escalation create another wave of volatility across Bitcoin and global risk assets?

The situation is no longer just about politics.

It is becoming a major financial story.
