According to Jin10, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said on August 12 that Interior Minister Naqvi arrived in Tehran on August 11 and is meeting senior Iranian officials. Andrabi said Naqvi's visit is intended to discuss bilateral relations, security-related issues, and regional developments, especially peace and stability in the region. He also said Pakistan is making every effort to bring the U.S. and Iran back to the negotiating table and implement the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding, paving the way for peace and stability in the region.
