🚨 HUGE WEEK AHEAD FOR MARKETS

#usmarkets

The next inflation reports could decide whether a September Fed rate hike comes back into focus — or gets pushed completely off the table.

Here’s the calendar:

📅 Monday — U.S. markets reopen after renewed attention on Iran and Strait of Hormuz developments.

📅 Tuesday — U.S. home-sales data. The Fed is also expected to inject roughly $5.1B in liquidity.

📅 Wednesday — U.S. CPI + Core CPI.
🔥 The biggest inflation test of the week.

📅 Thursday — U.S. PPI + Core PPI, alongside Japan PPI.

📅 Friday — University of Michigan consumer sentiment and Japan’s 3-month bill auction.

The Fed was already showing unusual disagreement at its last meeting, with three officials dissenting in favor of a rate hike — the first time three policymakers moved in the same direction since 2016.

Then the latest U.S. jobs report came in weaker than expected, sharply reducing the case for another hike.

Now inflation gets the final word.

🔥 HOT CPI/PPI → September hike expectations could return.

❄️ COOL INFLATION → Rate-hike bets could fade even further.

Markets are heading into a week where a few economic numbers could move bonds, the dollar, stocks and crypto all at once.
