🚨 JAPANESE STOCKS JUST ADDED $150 BILLION

#japanesestocks

More than ¥23.6 trillion ($150 billion) has been added to the value of Japanese equities as the Nikkei 225 surged around 2%.

The rally comes as investors react to a weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report, which reduced expectations for an imminent Federal Reserve rate hike.

Japanese electronics, semiconductor and metals stocks are leading the move. Furukawa Electric jumped 8.8%, Ibiden gained 7.4%, while Sumitomo Metal Mining rose 5.7% in early trading.

The yen also strengthened modestly against the dollar, trading near ¥157.9 per dollar.

Japan’s equity rally is being supported by strong AI and semiconductor demand, improving global risk sentiment and easing concerns around energy supply disruptions.

A $150 BILLION increase in market value in a single surge shows just how aggressively capital is moving back into Japanese equities. 📈
