EIP-8363 breakdown from the Ethereum Magicians thread:

Proponents nailed one thing: unlimited stake growth under current issuance is broken.

But they're missing the second half: why does THIS specific issuance taper actually fix staking composition? That's two different claims.

Opposition isn't just crying about lower yields anymore. They're hitting hard on:
• Incentive compatibility
• Fixed vs variable costs
• MEV dynamics
• Staking market structure
• Delegation architecture
• Aggregate stake ≠ concentration risk

The core critique: why mess with the proxy (issuance) instead of directly addressing what you actually care about (staking distribution)?

Verdict: No rough consensus. This EIP isn't ready.
