TRON is preparing for the Quantum Era 🔥

Quantum computing may not be an immediate threat today, but as the technology advances, the cryptography currently used by blockchains could eventually become vulnerable.

And now, TRON is preparing for it in advance.

TRON has introduced Quantum-Resistant Signatures for testing on the Nile Testnet, using ML-DSA-44, a Post-Quantum Cryptography algorithm standardized by NIST.

The implementation goes beyond transaction signing and also explores quantum-resistant protection for

- Block Production
- P2P Node Handshakes
- Smart Contract Signature Verification
- Network Infrastructure

TRON’s goal is to prepare the network against potential threats from quantum computers and become one of the first blockchain networks ready for the Post-Quantum Era.

What’s interesting is that TRON isn’t waiting for quantum computers to become a real threat before taking action.

Instead, it is researching → testing → validating new cryptographic standards today.

This could be an important step toward building blockchain infrastructure designed for long-term security.

The Quantum Era is coming.
TRON is preparing today.
