$AVAX is one of my favorite contrarian bets for the next bull run. đ
A lot of people look at AVAX today and see an old L1 that already had its big run.
I see something different.
Avalanche isn't just a single blockchain. Its architecture allows projects to launch custom Avalanche L1s with their own execution logic, validators, token economics and specialized requirements.
That opens the door for everything from DeFi and gaming to institutional and application-specific blockchains.
And there is an important connection to AVAX itself.
Avalanche's Primary Network uses AVAX, and validators securing the network need to stake AVAX. Avalanche also states that fees on the Primary Network and L1s that use AVAX as their gas token are burned.
Now look at the historical price.
AVAX reached an ATH of $144.96 in November 2021.
It's currently trading around the $6â7 range.
Obviously, I'm not saying AVAX is guaranteed to return to $145.
But if Avalanche manages to regain strong adoption and the next bull market brings capital back into major L1s, the upside from these levels could be substantial.
A return to the previous ATH would represent roughly a 20x+ move from current levels.
That's exactly why I'm interested.
You have:
⢠A proven L1
⢠Custom application-specific L1 infrastructure
⢠EVM compatibility
⢠Staking demand for AVAX
⢠Fee-burning mechanics
⢠A massive gap from the previous ATH
The market doesn't need to value AVAX at $145 tomorrow.
It just needs to start pricing Avalanche as a major infrastructure layer again.
AVAX is one of those coins I'd rather accumulate while nobody is excited than chase after the narrative comes back. đ
