Solana Out-Earned Ethereum in July. Sit With That. I've written the "strong network, quiet price" version of Solana enough this week, so let me grab the one line that's actually new. In July, Solana apps pulled $82.9 million in revenue and 16.5% of all blockchain revenue, third overall, ahead of Ethereum. Ethereum. The chain Solana bulls have measured themselves against for years. Beaten on revenue for a month. A while ago that sentence would've sounded delusional. Before anyone gets carried away, revenue rank isn't the same as being the more important network. Ethereum settles far more value and carries a bigger institutional footprint. One month is a data point, not a coronation. And plenty of Solana's revenue still leans on memecoin churn, about a quarter of its DEX volume again. Still, it tells you the "Solana is just a casino" line is getting stale. Stablecoin supply on the chain hit a record $15.7 billion in the same stretch. Casinos don't attract that kind of parked money. Price is another conversation, $SOL stuck near $73 with $90 as the wall to beat. Everyone waits for ETH to flip BTC. Meanwhile a smaller flip just happened and barely anyone noticed. 🪙 #Altcoin Season# #Solana
