August could be one of the biggest months for the markets.
It all starts with the ISM Manufacturing PMI on August 3, followed by the ISM Services PMI and the U.S. Jobs Report. Investors will also be watching whether the Senate moves forward with the Crypto Clarity Act before the August recess, along with key inflation reports including the PPI, U.K. CPI, Eurozone CPI, and the release of the FOMC Minutes.
Later in the month, all eyes will be on the second estimate of U.S. GDP, the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge (PCE), and Nvidia’s earnings, all of which could move stocks and crypto. Bitcoin Asia 2026 in Hong Kong also wraps up the month with one of the biggest crypto events of the year.
