When people hear that Binance bStocks are backed 1:1 by real shares, many simply think:
"Okay... but why should I care?"🫵
Because backing is what separates a tokenized asset from a token that only *claims* to follow a price.
A bStock isn't created out of thin air. Each token represents a certificate backed 1:1 by the corresponding underlying share held by the issuer. This structure is designed so that the token's value is linked to a real asset instead of existing only because of market speculation.🙌
That doesn't make a bStock identical to owning a traditional share—you still don't receive shareholder rights like voting.🙏
But it does mean there's a real asset behind the product, rather than just a promise.
For me, this is one of the most important ideas to understand before buying any 🤌tokenized stock.
