A US brokerage account was never really an option for me — no local banking rail into a US clearing firm, plus paperwork I never had a reason to finish.

So I mapped what "getting exposure to NVIDIA" actually requires through two different routes.

Route one: open a brokerage account, pass its onboarding, fund it through a supported banking rail, wait for the account to clear, place an order during US market hours.

Route two: open Binance, search NVDAB, buy it against USDT on Spot. Same session, same app I already use for everything else.

According to Binance, roughly 73% of users trading stocks through this rollout come from emerging markets. So route two isn't a niche workaround — it's apparently the default path for most people using the product.

Route one doesn't disappear for everyone. It just means the friction that used to gate this market out for a lot of us got removed on one specific rail.
