I spent more time watching @BabylonLabs_io this week, and the story feels different once you stop looking at price alone. The recent testnet progress is encouraging, but I keep asking what happens after the first wave of excitement fades. $BABY is built around self-custodial Bitcoin staking, where people keep control of their BTC instead of depending on bridges, wrapped coins, or a central custodian. That removes one layer of trust, but it does not remove every challenge. Regulation could still become more complex as exchanges, custodians, liquid staking products, and wallet apps package this experience for everyday users. Adoption is the next hurdle. A good design means little if developers do not build on it or if users never change their habits. Trustless Bitcoin Vaults also deserve a closer look. Paying back a loan and receiving BTC are not always one action. Proofs, redemption, challenge periods, and fallback paths still matter, especially when real money is involved. As $BABY grows, what will matter most: regulation, adoption, or real-world execution?
