The part of Babylon (BABY) that interests me isn’t the promise—it’s the engineering question.

Can Bitcoin’s proven economic security be extended to strengthen PoS networks through self-custodial BTC staking?

Good design, audits, and formal verification build confidence before deployment. Real confidence comes from years of operating under unpredictable real-world conditions.

I don’t know every detail of Babylon’s implementation, so I’m not making claims about its success or failure. I’m simply interested in the broader engineering principle.

In the end, systems aren’t defined by how convincing they look on paper, but by how well they continue to work once reality starts testing every assumption.
