Oil moves.

Stock markets react.
Why?
Because markets don't only react to what has happened.
They react to what investors expect might happen next.
A statement about tariffs.
A comment on interest rates.
A warning about Iran.
A policy announcement.
These can change expectations—and expectations can move prices.
Sometimes I wonder...
Are we trading assets?
Or are we trading reactions to people?
As retail traders, we spend years learning charts and indicators.
Then one unexpected headline changes the entire picture.
That's why I've learned one lesson:
Never build your trading strategy around one person's words. Build it around risk management.
Leaders change.
Headlines change.
Markets change.
Your discipline is the only thing you truly control.
