I Never Really Asked Why Bitcoin Security Had to Stay in One Place
A friend asked me something the other day that I couldn't answer.
"If Bitcoin is already one of the most secure networks, why does that security only benefit Bitcoin itself?"
I honestly had no idea.
That question stayed in my head, so I started reading more about Babylon.
What surprised me that Babylon wanted to build another blockchain. It was the idea of using Bitcoin's existing security to help protect other connected networks instead of leaving it isolated.
The more I thought about it, the more it reminded me of owning a really powerful tool but only using it for one small job.
Bitcoin doesn't become something different. Its security simply becomes useful in more places.
That was the part I found interesting.
Before this, I always thought blockchain innovation meant creating something entirely new. Babylon made me realize that sometimes the smarter approach is figuring out how to make the strongest foundation useful beyond its original purpose.
I probably wouldn't have asked that question on my own.
Now I think it's one of the most interesting questions in BTCFi.
Do you think Bitcoin's security should stay exclusive to Bitcoin, or should it help secure other networks too?
