While reading about @BabylonLabs_io’s Trustless Bitcoin Vaults, I realized the discussion often starts with staking but quickly becomes a discussion about security architecture.
What stood out to me is that TBV explores how Bitcoin can contribute to securing PoS ecosystems while users retain self custody of their BTC. That shifts the conversation beyond rewards and toward trust assumptions and protocol design.
The more I learn about TBV, the more I think the interesting question isn’t “How much can Bitcoin earn?” It’s “What new role can Bitcoin play without compromising its core principles?”
