BTC’s been moving sideways for days, so instead of staring at charts, I decided to actually test what @BabylonLabs_io is building.
I tried the Native BTC Backed Borrowing on the Aave v4 testnet expecting the usual instant deposit borrow done flow.

Your BTC stays locked in a Trustless Bitcoin Vault while the protocol waits for true Bitcoin network verification before collateral becomes available. It isn’t slow because of centralized delays it’s slow because Bitcoin finality takes real time.
Honestly? I thought I messed something up at first. I kept refreshing my wallet every 30 it’s just Bitcoin doing its job.
It was a solid reality check that trustlessness and speed aren't always the same thing.
That extra wait is simply the tax you pay for true Bitcoin security instead of relying on risky bridges or centralized custodians.
Makes me wonder once this hits mainnet with will users prioritize raw speed or pure uncompromised security?
