#baby $BABY @BabylonLabs_io
I’ve been thinking about why Babylon keeps holding my attention. It’s not because of the staking narrative—that part has been repeated so many times across crypto that it barely means anything anymore. What feels different is that Babylon isn’t asking Bitcoin to become something else. Instead, it’s asking whether Bitcoin can stay exactly as it is while quietly doing more in the background.
I’ve watched plenty of projects promise to "unlock" Bitcoin, but most ended up introducing new trust assumptions that never sat right with me. Babylon seems to be taking a slower path by keeping self-custody at the center while letting BTC contribute to the security of other networks. That trade-off feels more thoughtful than flashy.
Maybe I’m wrong, and time will prove it. But I’ve learned that the strongest infrastructure is usually the kind people stop talking about because it simply works. If Babylon reaches that point, I think that will matter far more than any short-term narrative ever could.
