Everyone talks about AI becoming smarter. I think the bigger challenge is making AI financially trustworthy.
As AI agents begin handling digital assets, they will need infrastructure that lets them interact with value without depending entirely on centralized intermediaries. This is where I see an interesting long-term connection with @BabylonLabs_io .
In simple terms, Babylon is building infrastructure that allows Bitcoin to contribute to the security of Proof-of-Stake ecosystems while BTC remains under the owner's control. Although AI and Bitcoin staking are often discussed separately, I believe they could eventually complement each other.
One idea that isn't discussed enough is autonomous treasury management. Imagine AI agents responsible for managing idle capital for decentralized applications or organizations. Instead of seeking the highest possible yield, they could prioritize infrastructure backed by Bitcoin's security model, optimizing for long-term reliability rather than short-term returns.
The opportunity is clear. AI could automate complex financial decisions while Babylon provides a stronger security foundation for those decisions.
The risks deserve equal attention. AI systems can make flawed judgments, incentives may become misaligned, and secure infrastructure cannot eliminate mistakes made by autonomous software. Governance, oversight, and transparent authorization will remain essential.
I don't think AI will replace human decision-making anytime soon. But if autonomous finance continues to grow, secure Bitcoin-based infrastructure may become an important building block.
