Not every integration means security is already live.

While learning about Babylon, I noticed something interesting. The network shows many connected chains, but being integrated doesn’t always mean they are already protected by Babylon’s security.

Before a chain receives Bitcoin-backed security, it still needs a governance proposal, approval from BABY holders, and finality providers to be assigned. Only then does the security become active.#baby

I actually like this approach. It may take more time, but careful onboarding is better than rushing.@BabylonLabs_io

It also reminds us that “integrated” and “secured” are two different stages.

The next thing I’m curious about is how many chains are already fully secured by Babylon, and how many are still waiting for governance approval.$BTW
