STON.fi vs Ethereum: Meine persönliche Sicht

Viele Menschen vergleichen Krypto-Projekte so, als stünden sie in direkter Konkurrenz. Ich denke jedoch, dass das nicht immer der richtige Ansatz ist. Wenn ich mir STON.fi und Ethereum anschaue, sehe ich nicht zwei Projekte, die um denselben Platz kämpfen. Ich sehe, dass sie unterschiedliche Probleme lösen. Ethereum hat das Fundament geschaffen. Es hat der Welt bewiesen, dass Finanzanwendungen ohne Zwischenhändler betrieben werden können. Es hat den Spielplatz geschaffen, auf dem modernes DeFi entstanden ist. Ohne Ethereum würden viele der heutigen Ideen wahrscheinlich nicht existieren. Es hat eine der stärksten Entwickler-Communities in Krypto – und das aus gutem Grund.

Many people compare crypto projects as if they’re in direct competition. I don’t think that’s always the right approach.
When I look at STON.fi and Ethereum, I don’t see two projects fighting for the same spot. I see them solving different problems.
Ethereum built the foundation.
It proved to the world that financial applications could run without intermediaries. It created the playground where modern DeFi was born. Without Ethereum, many of today’s ideas probably wouldn’t exist. It has one of the strongest developer communities in crypto, for good reason.
STON.fi is focused on simplicity.
In my view, STON.fi is working on the next layer: making DeFi actually easy to use. While Ethereum excels at innovation and security, STON.fi is removing friction inside the TON ecosystem, with clean interfaces, near-zero fees, seamless wallet integration, and tools like Omniston that make cross-chain swaps feel effortless instead of complicated.
I believe the next phase of crypto isn’t about adding more features. It’s about removing unnecessary steps. Users shouldn’t have to constantly think about networks, bridges, gas tokens, or approvals. They should just get things done.
That’s why STON.fi keeps my attention. It’s building toward a future where people focus on the outcome, swapping, earning yield, and transferring value, rather than wrestling with the process.
They can complement each other.
Ethereum remains one of the most important ecosystems in crypto. STON.fi isn’t trying to replace it. Instead, it’s building infrastructure that helps connect users to opportunities across chains more smoothly.
The future of DeFi won’t be won by a single blockchain. It will be built by projects that make different ecosystems feel connected and accessible.
That’s why I continue following STON.fi, not because I think it will overtake Ethereum, but because it’s tackling a different, and equally important, challenge: making decentralized finance feel natural for everyday users.
