kept lookin at TVL numbers for @BabylonLabs_io , missed the actual point

so for the past few days i been quoting stats like "56k+ BTC staked" n treatin that as the headline. but honestly the number itself doesnt explain much, its just a big figure that sounds impressive.

what actually matters is what that locked BTC is doin. its not just sittin there earning yield, its providin economic security to PoS chains that plug into the Babylon system. a chain is only as safe as how expensive it is to attack it, n Trustless Bitcoin Vaults let new chains borrow bitcoins security instead of buildin trust from zero on their own. so the real story isnt "how much BTC is staked," its "what does that BTC make possible that wasnt practical before."

kinda shifted how i think about it. instead of askin "whats the TVL", now im askin "what weaker chain just got a way stronger security budget because of this."

still learning the tradeoffs here myself ngl, this stuff goes deeper the more u read into it
