After four years of watching both markets, here's my personal view.

Many people ask: Crypto or Forex (FX)?

For me, the answer is Forex.

The reason is simple. Every major currency pair—such as EUR/USD—is backed by real economies, central banks, governments, businesses, and millions of people participating in global trade. The market is driven by broad economic fundamentals and institutional activity.

In contrast, I find the crypto market to be far more speculative. Prices are often influenced by large holders ("smart money"), market sentiment, and rapid speculation rather than underlying economic fundamentals. This can leave many retail traders buying high and selling low while experienced participants capture the profits.

That's why I personally prefer the Forex market. It doesn't eliminate risk, but I believe it offers a stronger foundation for long-term trading than a market that is largely driven by speculation.
