I’ve seen this before. The market hears a new idea, prices the possibility, and forgets to ask what happens when the first real test arrives. That’s why I’m watching @BabylonLabs_io
without rushing to label it as the next breakthrough.
Letting Bitcoin participate in securing PoS networks through self-custodial staking sounds meaningful,
but good ideas have a habit of becoming fragile once incentives change.

Crypto rarely breaks because the vision is wrong. It usually breaks because the assumptions behind it never get questioned. That’s where my attention stays.

I’m not following the excitement around the BABY token as much as I’m watching whether Babylon can hold up when activity slows and speculation fades. Strong infrastructure should become more useful after the spotlight disappears, not less.

If $BABY ends up representing something durable, it will be because the network continues earning trust long after the market stops talking about it. Until then, I see another interesting attempt to solve a real problem, but experience has taught me that the difference between lasting infrastructure and another passing narrative is only visible after the crowd has already moved on.
