I keep coming back to one question: if Bitcoin is already the largest and most secure blockchain, why does so much of its value simply sit still?

That thought is exactly what made me pay attention to Babylon. Instead of asking people to move their BTC to another chain or hand it over to a third party, Babylon is exploring a different path.

What caught my attention is its focus on self-custody. Your Bitcoin stays on the Bitcoin network while helping strengthen the security of Proof-of-Stake blockchains. That's a very different approach from what we've seen over the years.

I've noticed that many projects try to improve Bitcoin by changing it. Babylon doesn't. It builds around Bitcoin's biggest strength instead of replacing it, and I think that's a much smarter direction.

Of course, the project still has plenty to prove. Real adoption will matter far more than exciting headlines or short-term hype.

If Babylon delivers on its vision, Bitcoin could become more than just a store of value. It could help secure an entirely new generation of blockchain networks without compromising the principles that made it trusted in the first place.

That's why I'll be watching this project closely.
