Bitcoin Doesn't Need to Leave Home

I've been around long enough to see almost every version of make your BTC productive.

Most of them started the same way.

Move your Bitcoin somewhere else.

Wrap it.

Trust another system.

Then hope every piece in the middle keeps working.

That's why Babylon made me stop scrolling.

Not because it promised rewards.

Because it didn't start by asking me to send my Bitcoin away.

The more I watched how it works, the more that detail stood out. Your BTC stays on Bitcoin. It isn't turned into another asset just so it can be useful somewhere else.

That feels like a small design choice until you remember how normal the opposite has become.

Crypto has trained us to think that participation always means giving something up.

Sometimes it's custody.

Sometimes it's transparency.

Sometimes it's simply peace of mind.

Babylon approaches it differently.

You're helping extend Bitcoin's economic security to PoS networks, but the Bitcoin itself never stops being Bitcoin.

No wrapped version.

No pretending it's something else.

I don't think that's the exciting part most people will tweet about.

But it's the part I keep coming back to.

The older I get in crypto, the less impressed I am by complicated systems and the more I notice what they don't ask me to sacrifice.

Sometimes the quietest design decision ends up being the one that matters most.
