Somewhere in Babylon's documentation there's a line drawing a distinction most projects would bury: a vault, they say, can either be segregated or co-mingled, and they chose segregated on purpose. $BABY #TBV @Babylon_Labs locks each vault to a single Bitcoin script controlled by a single holder, rather than pooling deposits into a shared strategy the way most DeFi vaults do. It's a smaller design choice than the zero-knowledge proofs get credit for, but it's the one that actually shapes the user's experience, no shared liquidity pool means no one else's risk bleeds into yours, but it also means no pooled depth, no averaged-out yield smoothing, nothing collective absorbing a bad individual decision. The philosophy reads as protective. In practice it just relocates responsibility, every vault owner is fully exposed to their own choices, with no aggregate cushion the pooled model would have provided. Isolation and safety get described as the same thing here, and mostly they are, until the isolation is the part someone wasn't prepared to carry alone.
