Trading lesson of the day: The market doesn’t care how confident you are. It only follows liquidity.

Today was a reality check.

I opened three altcoin short positions, thinking I was taking the safer route.

The market had a different plan.

📈 $RE exploded +30.7% in one day, moving from 0.3715 to 0.4953 after reclaiming key support and shifting into a bullish structure.

📈 $KAITO climbed from 0.89 to 0.9939, supported by strong technical momentum and launchpad speculation. My short entry at 0.8915 is now sitting at roughly a 34% unrealized loss.

📈 $ALLO pushed higher from 0.4525 to 0.5028, creating another tough loss on a token that has already gained 287% in 90 days and 482% over six months.

The mistake was trying to predict the exact top.

So why did the market move higher?

• U.S. lawmakers pushed forward with major crypto-friendly legislation.
• Tether injected fresh liquidity by minting 2B USDT on Ethereum.
• Market risk appetite returned across crypto.
• Even CZ noted that altseason momentum appears to be building.

FOMO is returning.

Today wasn’t my win—but I’ll take a controlled loss over letting my ego destroy my account.

The best traders aren’t those who never lose. They’re the ones who manage risk, stay alive, and are ready when the next opportunity appears.
