South Korea's FSC said single-stock leveraged ETFs helped prevent capital outflows to overseas stock markets. Byun Je-ho said recent South Korean stock market volatility cannot be explained simply by the products. The FSC also pointed to higher semiconductor stock volatility in the U.S. and Japan.
