Blockchain does not float in the clouds. Its existence relies entirely on a network of thousands of computers scattered globally, constantly communicating. These computers are called Nodes.
๐ธ What Is A Node?
Fundamentally, a Node is any device like PC, laptop, dedicated server that downloads a specific Blockchain software and connects to the network.
Its job is to store, broadcast, and validate transactions. It acts like an independent witness, recording every market event.
๐ธ Difference From Traditional Servers:
Server Model data is centralized in a giant warehouse. If the main Server is hacked or unplugged, the system crashes, and data vanishes.
Node Model data is replicated into thousands of identical copies and distributed decentrally across every Node. There is no central server.
๐น Why Blockchain Dies Without Nodes?
Nodes create Immutability and Censorship Resistance.
To shut down Bitcoin, they would have to find and shut down tens of thousands of nodes in over 100 countries simultaneously, which is impossible.
As long as 1 Node survives, the entire history of the Blockchain remains intact and can restore the network.

Do you trust your asset data stored on a single Server, or protected by thousands of independent Nodes?
