Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that the United States could launch new attacks on Iran even while peace talks continue. He said Iran has “completely lost trust” in Washington after previous attacks during negotiations.

Speaking with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, Pezeshkian stated that diplomacy has always been Iran’s priority, but claimed the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran twice during ongoing nuclear discussions.

According to Iranian state media, Iran fears another possible strike, especially after the joint U.S.-Israel attacks in June 2025 and again in February 2026 during negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program.
