🟡 TRAIIZE | MORNING MARKET BRIEF
BTC HOLDS NEAR $79K — BUT THE FED IS BACK IN FOCUS
📅 27 AUGUST 2026 | 09:55
₿ BITCOIN — ~$79K
Bitcoin slipped below $79,000 this morning after briefly breaking above $80,000 earlier this week.
BTC is still up around 14% over the past 7 days, but the rally is facing a new test.
🇺🇸 THE FED FACTOR
Traders are increasingly betting that the Federal Reserve could keep monetary policy tighter than previously expected.
U.S. PCE inflation rose 3.7% year-over-year in July, adding pressure to expectations around future interest rates.
🎤 JACKSON HOLE — TOMORROW
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh is scheduled to speak at the Jackson Hole symposium on Friday.
Markets will be watching closely for clues about the Fed's next interest-rate decision.
📊 CRYPTO SNAPSHOT
🟢 SOL → ~$101 | +4%
🟢 ETH → ~$2,494 | +1%
🟢 BNB → ~$703 | +1%
🔴 XRP → ~$1.41 | -3%
XRP is still up around 28% over the week, despite today's pullback.
⚠️ ONE IMPORTANT SIGNAL
Bitcoin's Open Interest is falling while price remains elevated.
That can mean part of the recent rally came from short covering, rather than a massive wave of new leveraged longs.
Spot ETF inflows, however, are providing genuine demand.
🧠 TRAIIZE TAKE
Yesterday, the story was:
"Can BTC hold $80K?"
Today, the bigger question is:
"Can BTC break $82.8K while macro pressure increases?"
The next major technical level is around $82,820, the May high.
A confirmed break above it could strengthen the case for a move toward $100K — but until then, resistance remains real.
We watch the news.
We verify the facts.
We explain the impact.
