I have been watching Ethereum closely, and the latest 4-hour ETHUSDT chart suggests that the market is entering an important decision zone. At the time of this analysis, ETH is trading around $1,874.70, after touching a 24-hour high of $1,898.30 and a low of $1,851.46. Instead of focusing only on price, I think the current market structure deserves more attention.
From what I see, sellers have controlled the short-term trend over the past several candles. Ethereum has formed lower highs and lower lows, which usually reflects bearish momentum. However, I also notice that the recent selling candles are becoming smaller compared to the earlier decline. For me, this is worth watching because it may indicate that selling pressure is slowing, even though it doesn't confirm a reversal.
I believe the $1,870-$1,860 area has become the key support zone. If buyers continue defending this level, Ethereum could attempt a short-term recovery. On the other hand, if this support breaks with strong selling volume, the market could search for lower price levels before finding a stronger base.
The first resistance I am watching is around $1,900. A successful move above this level would improve short-term sentiment, but I would still want to see strong buying volume before considering it a meaningful recovery. Beyond that, the $1,930-$1,940 zone remains another important area where sellers have previously entered the market.
Volume will play a major role in the next move. I don't think a price bounce alone is enough. I want to see buyers returning with conviction because low-volume recoveries often fail to sustain momentum.
Beyond the chart, Ethereum's long-term fundamentals remain active. The network continues to benefit from Layer-2 growth, DeFi development, and increasing institutional interest. Still, I think short-term price action should be judged on technical confirmation rather than expectations alone.
My view is simple: Ethereum is trading at a critical level where both buyers and sellers have reasons to stay active. I don't see a confirmed bullish reversal yet, but I also don't think the current structure should be viewed as automatic continuation to the downside. The next few 4-hour candles could provide much better direction.
Levels I am watching:
Current Price: $1,874.70
Support: $1,870-$1,860
Resistance 1: $1,900
Resistance 2: $1,930-$1,940
For now, I think patience is more valuable than prediction. I will be watching how Ethereum reacts around these key levels because that reaction is likely to determine the next meaningful move.
